On April 16, The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians collaborated with Miller Geer & Associates to host a Public Relations Workshop for local grantees throughout the Inland Empire. The Tribe’s strategic philanthropy and public relations teams invited 50 of the Tribe’s nonprofit partners to engage in activities, dive into their unique organization insights, and learn about elevating their brand through external communications.
Participants also learned how to successfully prepare press releases, talking points, and social media content. The curriculum for the workshop stemmed from the Tribe’s efforts to educate and empower communities in need. Likewise, the Tribe deeply values the work of its professional and community partners and believes that together they can contribute to the advancement of Indian Country and beyond.
