Bay Mills Indian Community, a Chippewa tribe in Michigan converted an unused building on their Reservation into much-needed Emergency Transitional Housing Apartments with the help of a $100,000 grant from Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation. This will support Bay Mills Indian Community of over 2,000 members with housing and overcrowding challenges.
