More than 300 professional cyclists gathered at the Redlands Bicycle Classic (RBC) on April 10-14 to trek through Highland and Redlands. This year, the Onyx Summit in the San Bernardino Mountains and the Lake Perris area were added to the route of the longest continuously running professional stage race in the country.

For 38 years, the RBC has helped to build stronger and resilient communities, alongside the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, which has served as a presenting sponsor for 12 years.

Participating cyclists—who have competed in elite cycling events, including Tour de France and the Olympics—also spent time interacting with local students. This year’s Plain Wrap Ride—billed as a “charity fun ride” in partnership with the RBC—had solo and tandem bicyclists of all ages ride in routes around Redlands, Yucaipa, Loma Linda, Grand Terrace and Colton.
